Welcome

Welcome to my space, where breath takes on new meaning and the soul finds fresh energy.

Psychotherapy opens these very doors, a hidden passage, allowing us to explore, heal, and co-create new paths together.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.

About Me

I have studied psychotherapy at the Institute for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in Ljubljana and am now working as a psychotherapist under supervision.

I first studied law and earned a law degree, but soon afterwards I enrolled in psychology studies at the Open University in the UK and obtained a psychology degree. Later I decided to study psychotherapy as I always actually wanted to be a psychotherapist. I have more than 900 hours of personal experience as a client in psychotherapy: more than 300 hours of individual psychotherapy and 600 hours of group psychotherapy. While confronting challenges of parenthood I attended several courses at the Neufeld Institute in Canada (Intensives I, II and III as well as the Alpha Children Course). The Institute has been founded by Gordon Neufeld, a foremost authority on child development in Canada and proponent of the attachment based developmental theory. These courses have provided me with completely new understanding of child development and what really matters to not only get older but also to grow up. Dr Neufeld co-authored the book Hold on to Your Kidswith Gabor Maté. I translated the book into Slovenian and in that context did two interviews, one of which is with Dr Neufeld. You can watch both interviews at these links: Interview with Dr Neufeld and Interview with Taja Zuccato (in Slovenian only)I practiced and studied yoga intensively for several years. I did a yoga teacher training and taught yoga to my friends for several years. I still practice yoga, but I have discovered (anew) my main passion: conscious dance. Conscious dance is a dance with no form, the movements are spontaneous having origin in whatever arises in the body in each moment: an impulse, an emotion…It is an extraordinary tool to connect to oneself, explore and find an expression for anything that arises.

I am a member of the EZPPS (which is part of the European Confederation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies) and I am bound by the Code of Ethics of this Association and by the Code of Ethics of Slovenian Psychotherapy Association (SKZP).

The stories we tell

My reflections on the stories our mind, body or even mind-body are telling.
